A 4.3" digital photo frame may not get much attention in the already commoditized market, but if you throw in a bus-powered USB video card and a LED backlit LCD, then you have a fairly unique miniature USB monitor that is both portable and environmentally friendly. This is exactly what Century Japan has created - a 4.3" WVGA (800 x 480) USB display unit that is powered entirely a USB bus and that doesn't pollute the environment with mercury and arsenic. So, what can we do with a screen this small? You could try to relocate some of your SideShow widgets there, to have a MSN Messenger chat window, or to watch CNN video feed. Whatever you do, you should only do one thing at a time with the $200 extra desktop estate. (Oh, did we just say this mini-screen costs two hundred bucks?) Century Japan however even did say you can hook up seven of these to single PC or Mac. If you are looking a similar product with a larger screen and a lower price tag, there are Samsung 10" SPF-105P and Asus 7" UFOTO UF735.
