CrunchGear got words that Corsair 'hand picks the NAND flash for each one and is using a new flash controller with enhanced dual channel and interleave memory technologies.' It would be interesting to see if the Flash Voyager GT will deliver. After all these, I don't understand why Corsiar won't throw in a hardware-based encryption controller.
