USB notebook coolers aren't new, but this one is certainly worth mentioning. The Digital Cowboy CRF-102 has a huge 22cm fan with a max. rotation of 600 rpm. The fan is like several times larger than the praised Belkin lappy cooler. I'm sure there's a good obvious reason for a fan of this size, especially when you work with several different laptops whose their air vents are all placed differently. An elevated angle should help dispersing the heat from underneath even without the fan turned on. While you would lose a USB port for the fan, you gain a laptop elevator with decent ergonomic design.
