True, you could just take the old phonograph and plug it into your computer's line in port to record, but where's the fun in that? Acting as an ordinary USB audio device, the Turntable USB does not require drivers, and it comes with Audacity for cross-platform editing and a 30-day trial of SoundSoap 2 for cleaning the record up. Ion gave this one a MSRP of $199, but Amazon is taking pre-orders for $140.
