With all the hype surrounding the much needed USB 3.0, it's a wonder that we haven't seen anything like this sooner. That's right folks; we have some pictures of what the upcoming USB 3.0 cables will look like. On the surface it appears to be identical to the 2.0 layout. This is mostly to provide backwards compatibility between existing technology and the forthcoming advancements. If you look a little closer though, you can see that there is a second set of connections buried a little deeper in the connector. Unfortunately all we have pictures of today is the cable in copy form, but at least it shows off the mini- connector for devices such as your phones and cameras. About Everything USB
