Razer Naga MMO gaming mouse from last year is a full of win with its 12 key thumb grid containing the same number of programmable buttons for different macro functions. The Naga has a total count of 17 buttons, including 5 regular ones. Also impressive are all the backlit keys, scroll wheel and Razer’s signature logo. Backlighting on the wheel seems to be an overkill, but a backlit thumb grip buttons makes perfect sense.

Fast forward 14 months and Razer comes up with a wireless version of the Naga. Now called Naga Epic, the MMO gaming mouse has undergone several improvements. You’ll find 3 interchangeable side panels to adjust the mouse’s shape to improve the mouse ergonomics. Razer might have been inspired by highly customizable Mad Catz RAT 7. The Naga Epic also features a wired and wireless 2.4Ghz dual-mode connectivity. Just like the Logitech G700, the Razer can recharge while in wired mode. Last not but the least is the multi-color backlighting which you can pick from a custom RGB scale. The poll and tracking rate remain the same at 1000Hz and 5600dpi respectively. This is certainly one high end mouse so expect to pay a premium. The Razer is now taking pre-orders of the Naga Epic for $129.99. The original version is only $79.99.
