HP's 2-Megapixel Webcam

HP's 2-Megapixel WebcamWebcam resolutions are rising swiftly of late. Microsoft was first to the plate with their two megapixel NX-6000. Now HP is announcing a new 2 Megapixel webcam called interestingly, the 2-Megapixel HP Webcam. The HP cam uses a wide angle lens covering 76 degrees diagonally and 65 degrees horizontally. The cams clip allows you to secure it to the monitor or place it on the desktop. The true 2 MP resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels is for still shots only. Video resolution caps out at 800 x 600 and the cam has face tracking built in as well. Certified USB 2.0 allows you to capture full motion video at 30 fps. You can also take still shots and a microphone is built into the webcam as well.
