By now, most of our readers are familiar with the common face-tracking feature in webcams. It's cool, yet limited to about 15 degrees of tracking and compromises the image somewhat, and now, Creative has a novel solution - the Webcam Live! Motion is motorized and physically moves with the user - or multiple users.
(Well, the Singapore-based company probably first got the idea from Logitech QuickCam Orbit.)
Designed to move automatically and manually, WebCam Live! Motion tilts and pans vertically and horizontally to give a panoramic view of up to 200° horizontally, and 105° vertically on its axis. With Smart Face Tracking, the camera automatically follows you as you move about, keeping you within the video always. It even tracks multiple persons, so everyone can get in on the conversation. The Motion has a 76° field of view too for maximum versatility.
