Toshiba WUSB Notebook Dock - Complete Port Replication

Now that WiQuest has folded and Kensington likely has to pick another vendor in order to continue with its WUSB Notebook Dock, Toshiba has stepped in to fill the void. Its latest Wireless USB DynaDock is powered by Alereon AL5000 chipset that meets worldwide regulatory requirement (operating in WiMedia band group 1, 3 &6).

As a laptop replicator, the DynaDock does video mirroring as well as desktop extension, supported resolutions are not specified. Unique to this dock are support for Ethernet and bi-directional isochronous data mode which is essential for video and audio applications such as USB speakers, webcams and USB TV tuners. As with all WUSB solutions connectivity is simple, you just enter the range of the dock to connect, and leave the range to disconnect. The new DynaDock also offers a wired USB connection in case another notebook user comes in and doesn't have the luxury of Wireless USB.
