Deluo GPSMouse, A Lame Mouse with Built-in GPS

  October 9th, 2007

WE RECOMMEND

Granted, we've seen mice built-in with numpad, phone, massager, flash memory or remote control; yet I never thought a GPS would find its way into a mouse. Now, here's one from Deluo. The aptly-named GPSMouse looks like a very ordinary two-button optical mouse with a retractable USB cord, but underneath is a GPS receiver. The GPS chipset is an Atmel ATR0635 with SuperSense. So, what's the point of this? MS Streets & Trips GPS is already small and light enough, and there are better travel mice than the Deluo. Regardless, if you want one, the GPSMouse will retail for $100 alone or around $130 with MS Streets and Trips bundled.
