iDisk Diamond Flash Drive: Where'd it go?

  November 2nd, 2005

If you're still able to lose that USB flash drive even when a lanyard is attached to it, then there's no way you'll be able to keep track of this miniscule drive. The 1-gram iDisk Diamond, successor to Pretec's iDisk tiny is only 2.7 x 1.9 x 1.2cm in size, taking up literally less than half of your USB port's footprint.

The USB 2.0 iDisk Diamond only comes in a 128MB capacity and is sold for ¥4,980, approximately $43 from Solid Alliance. A small hole is on the top of the top of the drive for attaching a lanyard, although we're rather fond of Solid Alliance's idea for putting it in the ear. Can you hear the ocean.mp3?
